May 2012 Long Island Housing Market Update from Multiple Listing Service
The May edition of the Long Island Real Estate Market Update from the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island shows a blossoming housing market for the area. May 2012 contracted sales numbers are up 16.4% over last year at the same time. Closed sales numbers are up 6.3% and housing inventory is down 11.5% from one year ago. All positive news for the Long Island housing market!
The May, 2012 Housing Market Report for Suffolk County reinforces the improved housing market with graphs and charts. Both the Nassau County Report and the Queens Report illustrate favorable numbers also.
