Officials from the Dix Hills Fire Department will present their plans for new facilities at a Community Meeting sponsored by the House Beautiful Dix Hills Civic Association on February 16. Location: Half Hollow Hills East Lecture Hall (enter the building under the bus canopy in front). Time: 7:30 PM. All Dix Hills Residents are Welcome!
On March 8th the Dix Hills Fire District Community will be asked to vote on a $19.75 million construction project for a new headquarters building, a new maintenance facility, a training tower, and site improvements. Members of the Dix Hills Fire Department and the architects for the project will be at the meeting to discuss their plans and answer any questions from community residents. This is your opportunity to hear the facts about the project and have your questions answered – so that you can make an informed decision when you vote on March 8th.
